WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has decided to ban yet another wrestling move that the performers under contract with the company can no longer use.

Pwinsider.com reported on Saturday that the company has opted to remove powerbombs into the turnbuckles, also known as bucklebombs, from the list of authorized moves used by talents during in-ring performances.

For years now, it’s been widely known that McMahon has a list of banned words and wrestling moves that he doesn’t want his talent to use.

Most notably, this move led to the retirement of pro wrestling legend Sting, who received the move during a match with Seth Rollins for the WWE Title. After the match, it was discovered that the WWE Hall of Famer had spinal stenosis.

It’s interesting timing of the news about this ban as Kairi Sane recently took a scary bump into the buckles while wrestling Nia Jax while working a match on Monday Night Raw.
